This stuff costs $10, and works great. It's sustainable, features simple nontoxic ingredients, keeps people employed in developing nations...and it works.
In the morning, after I use head and shoulders, my hair is usually left dying of thirst. If I don't put anything in it, my dry hair will bother me all day--falling onto my forehead, looking dull, and other first-world horrors. I used to gel my hair to fix it, but that never worked. Putting gel on dry hair is like trying to moisten stale bread by rubbing grease on it. It don't work.
Anyways, in comes this product, and it works! It leaves my hair just oily enough that I can shape it with my hands, and it has all the benefits of a good conditioner. Although it's a bad choice for anyone who wants their hair left perfectly dry and graphite smooth, it's good for guys who want a gelled, textured look, but don't want the hassle..
Pros:
- gets the job done
- Relatively cheap ($10 Whole Foods)
- clean and simple ingredients
Cons:
- generally doesn't spread
- better for those with shorter hair.
- I want to eat it but can't
