This is the gilded hood ornament of the lifted humvee that roars through the shanty at deafening speed, crashing through stick-built canopies and cinderblock walls, as clouds of dust explode with gunfire, and justice lies mangled with a chest littered with hollow-point rounds and splinters of ply.
